Children Improvers Sewing

After completing our Beginners Sewing Classes our little creative minds are always eager to learn more, hence we have created this next level to make it more fun and exciting for them.

In this class children will be introduced to basic pattern drafting. They will learn to use the measuring tapes both in inches and centimeters to measure and draft our simple projects for them to sew.

Children will work with commercial patterns as well as self-drafted patterns to complete their projects. They will also be taught basic sewing machine troubleshooting.

What to Bring……

Measuring tape with inches & centimeters

A notebook and pen to take notes

Pencil and eraser for drafting

Scissors

Bring your machine if you have one or use the ones provided.

PS: If children have their own machines and would like to bring them feel free to send them along as they will learn how to set up their own machines as well as basic troubleshooting.

Pre-requisite:

Completed the Beginners level sewing classes or have basic sewing knowledge and experience.

Days: Saturdays

Time: 2:00pm to 4:00pm
