What you will learn:

During these 4 weeks you will learn the foundations of crochet so you can tackle simple projects with confidence.

We will cover, yarn choices and hook suitability, learn foundation chain, double, treble, and cluster stitches, working in rows and in the round. Learners will also learn how to change colours, and an introduction to reading patterns and charts.

Week One – Learners get started with the foundation chains, double and treble stitch, stripes and colour changes, securing your work.

Week Two – This week learners move on to learning and working on Granny Squares.

Week Three – I call this the Shell stitch week as learning will be working in clusters, planning colours, reading charts and written patterns.

Week Four – No new stitch today its practice and recap week! We will have some time to practice all the techniques covered and complete any unfinished projects from the previous three weeks. We will also work on a new project this week.

What to bring:

For the classes you will need:

• 1x 120m ball of yarn
• 1x crochet hook size 4 or 4.5mm

If not sure you can purchase a kit for $15 at the studio when you attend on your first session.
